{"id":550,"date":"2026-06-03T00:24:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-02T23:24:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mrcraighill.live\/?p=550"},"modified":"2026-06-03T00:24:36","modified_gmt":"2026-06-02T23:24:36","slug":"ha-ha-in-haddington","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mrcraighill.live\/?p=550","title":{"rendered":"Ha Ha in Haddington"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>First of all, thanks to Fergus for this brilliant little \u2018Haddington Bear\u2019 present last night ! \ud83d\ude02\ud83d\udc4d&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had a right ha ha in Haddington!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Danced on to spot a moustached man who looked like a local farmer but turned out to be Bill the University lecturer from Colinton with his lovely smiley wife who worked in the same field, almost bringing us back to farming again!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We had June who was born in July, Jan her sister (cos her mum loved the letter J) Jan\u2019s hubbie the well spoken dentist from Trinity, Kevin the lawyer in the front who seemed to be well kent by Christine (the Church lady who wasn\u2019t actually a Church lady but had the look) Ethan the wee electrician \u2018fae the Pans\u2019 on a date with his girlfriend, Freda from Sweden who WASN\u2019T named after Abba \ud83d\ude02, her fireman husband who said he\u2019d \u201cjust been up Arthur\u2019s Seat\u201d, without thinking, Evie who was in desperate need of a Strepsil after losing her voice, Leanne way up the back, a whole much of people answering to the name Daryl and last but by no means least, Chris the construction worker who lived between Tranent and Haddington, which he described amusingly as, \u201cthink of me as the jam in the middle of the piece!\u201d \ud83d\ude02&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of course after that invite, I just had to get Chris up to join me for my Barbara Streisand dance off at the end and he was indeed \u2018the jam in the middle of the piece\u2019 with his sweeet dancing!
