Another fun night at the fabulous Òran Mór at Glasgow International Comedy Festival!
Last night’s delights were a Robert Kilroy Silk lookielikie in the front called Richard who was a heating engineer from Erskine, a joiner right behind him, just in case anyone was looking for some work to be done, a man and his wife, who came down to join us in the front, then changed their mind in the interval and went back up the back, a saucy minx of a girl with tattoos all the way down her legs who thought I wouldn’t notice her being on her phone, a woman from Carlisle, who let us know it was so much more than just a train station, ‘Oli’ the gay English pilot who had flown here for fun with his Scottish boyfriend Ross, cute Christine fae Castlemilk, a lassie fae Glenrothes who afforded it more vowels than it actually had, a fun Aberdonian way up the back, a Californian dreamer with the most fabulous accent and the absolute find of the night – Julio from Latin America who was easily the most enthusiastic person I’ve ever had on stage. He actually couldn’t wait to start dancing and almost stole the show – he was amazing! 😂 A joy of a gig in a joy of a festival. Honestly, get yourself along and see it all. It’s a fabulous festival. 👏
Next stop – I’m off to squeeze a Lemon in Aberdeen on Friday 29th March!
