And I have to say…well done Aberdeen Comedy Fest 👏 What a fabulous fun first Friday of the Fest! My audience were a riot last night. Loved ‘em!
We had the Sean Connery lookalike in the front row who looked all sophisticated and posh who turned out to be ‘Bob fae Paisley!’ 😂 Bob was an ex rigger who was here with his beautifully demure, well spoken wife who insisted she was from Torry AND Orkney. In fact she was so posh she licked her teeth when she laughed! 😂
We also had the lovely gay man from Luton who always tries to ‘disappear’ at end of the front row 😂👍, gay Kyle the travel agent who’d made the ‘big’ move from Torry to Dyce (‘hoff an hoor’ up the road) the English man with the strong accent who came from ‘Steuch’, which turned out to be Stoke On Trent’, the woman in the front row with two big tomatoes on her T shirt who’d forgotten to put on her bra (she told me after 😂) and finally, the fabulous Irena from Germany with her hubby and her grown up son, who’s studying here, who I thought might be called ‘Hans Aff’ 😂
Such a pleasure of a gig, in such a great venue, ‘The Lemon Tree’ which is looking better than ever!
