a Fun Friday Had a fun Friday audience in last night. A man with a fabulously long beard that you could swing off, caught my attention until I got distracted by a very light footed guy who, in his efforts to get to his seat in the front row quickly, practically skipped in! 😂 Then there were the Aberdonian father and son with identical jobs in fire safety, the latecomers from Wolverhampton, Margaret and her lovely hubby who’d been together for more than 50 years, the Londoners up the back, Aussie Fraser with his very non Aussie Scottish accent and my favourite person of the night…the delightfully posh Claire from Turnbridge Wells who’s lovely face just beamed with smiley positivity!
At the end, I was going to get the Aberdonian Fire Safety guy up on stage, but he did a risk assessment and decided against it 😂, so we got a guy on the end of the row who I hadn’t even engaged with for the whole show, who surprisingly was absolutely up for a big dance off and absolutely went for it! Honestly, you’ve never seen dancing fingers like it!
Went from there to Forth on the Fringe at the Edinburgh Playhouse, which is always such a fun gig to play. The backstage shenanigans with Jason Byrne, Jason John Whitehead, Tom Stade and Suzie McCabe were just as entertaining!
So, let’s get fresh for the weekend. I look forward to a sassy Saturday. 🥳
