Thanks to the fantastically fun audiences who showed up for Glasgow International Comedy Festival last weekend! You were an absolute riot! 😂 👏
Friday’s delights were, a brilliantly organised girl, Laura from the West End, who came forward to straighten up the stairs to the stage for me, the fun long haired blonde women in the front, in leopard print, latecomers Elaine and Heather fae Carntyne and Roddie from East Kilbride (not the one from Aztec Camera, I hasten to add! 😂) And Saturday’s crowd included the brilliant Annette from Denmark, who had no idea who she’d come to see but was great fun to banter with, a wee gay guy with his lovely mum and dad who stood up and ‘Vogued’ for us, June fae Kirkintilloch, Boaby fae Milngavie, Eva from Montrose, who was so far up the back of the audience I could barely make out her name and she ended up spelling it out as ‘Echo Victor Alpha’ 😂, and a brilliant gay man called Ken with a t-shirt on that said ‘Ken out of ten!’ 😂👏
And to top off the night, I just had to get panel beater Andy up on stage for a dance off and I reckon he could absolutely beat the panel on X Factor with his dancing! A fun weekend at a fab venue (go Òran Mór!) and a brilliant comedy festival. Get oot there and enjoy Glasgow International Comedy Festival -so many great comedians and shows on! 🥳
