Oh that Lemon Tree was juicy! What a fruity bunch of fun folk we had in last night!
We had big Will, the Peterhead policeman sitting right in the front row, who, quite fittingly was completely arresting! 😂 Will was here with his dad and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a happier man in an aqua fleece – they were literally both, the boys in blue!
We had Laura the lesbian, Louise the librarian, Karen the crèche manager, Phil whose phone went off to let him know on a Saturday night that his dental appointment had been changed 😂, a lovely Luton gay man, a beautifully spoken woman from Duddingston, a lovely pinstriped lesbian in the front, Vanessa the Frankfurter Forestry development manager from Germany, gay Kevin the ‘out’ patient from Cornhill and his partner Colin who teaches teachers how to teach! What a thoroughly satisfying bunch of Loons and Quines.
We topped off the night by getting the Peterhead policeman to join me on stage for a hoedown, and boy did that bobby go for it, proving that where there’s a ‘Will’ there’s a way! 😂👍
