Dundee done! šŸ‘

Danced on tonight to find a big baldy butch guy sitting right in the front called Phil, who, I kept on thinking, if I stood next to him we could pass for the Mitchell Brothers, Phil and Grant! šŸ˜‚Ā

Then, straight after Phil, there was Bill, also in the front, but in a blue sequinned sparkly jumper, which made me think he might have come straight from Dundeeā€˜s gay bar,  ā€˜Klozet’ (with a ā€˜K’) I was hoping Billā€˜s boyfriend would be called Ben and we would have the flowerpot men but no such luck! šŸ˜‚

There was a woman who came in late who was an absolute riot to banter with, a girl from Yorkshire who had a desperately held on to her accent and definitely hadn’t lost it, 3 women from St Andrews who were keen to tell me that they weren’t from the posh bit šŸ˜‚ and a guy in the front who was a construction worker, who, when I asked him to hold my microphone for a second, got quite carried away with himself and started teasing me it! In the words of Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman ā€œBig mistake, huge!ā€ šŸ˜‚

There were two lovely mums sitting in the front you hadn’t been to see me before, a gay guy called Kieran who had moved from Livingston to Dundee to train to be a doctor, a Glaswegian up the back fae Castlemilk, a firefighter right in the front practically having a competition with the construction worker to see who was the butchest, and a fun woman from Durban in South Africa who had moved to Scotland for love. ā¤ļø

At the end, I just had to get big baldy butch guy up to dance with me and make my Phil and Grant Mitchell dream come true! Phil fairly filled the floor and granted me my wish for a big dance off. What a corker of an audience!

Not only is this getting me excited for the Edinburgh Fringe but it’s getting right in the mood for Kirkcaldy tonight! See you there Valentiners! ā¤ļø
